Be Remarkable.

Make a Difference in Someone’s Life.

At Remarkable Hospice, our volunteers are at the heart of what we do. Volunteers play a vital role in the lives of our patients. While they do not provide medical or hands-on care, they provide comfort, companionship and a helping hand at just the right time. Our team couldn’t be remarkable without our volunteers. Daily, they enrich their own lives by enriching the lives of those they serve.

Perhaps becoming a volunteer with Remarkable Hospice is right for you. Do you enjoy spending time with others and offering companionship? Do you like to lend a helping hand when you see a need? You might be just who we’re looking for!

Training and Support

Each of our volunteers begins by participating in a training program designed to make volunteers feel comfortable with end-of-life topics that may come up during conversations with our patients*. Training also aims to make prospective volunteers aware of possible scenarios that may arise during their visits.

Our Volunteer Coordinator will make sure you feel comfortable discussing end-of-life care with patients and that you feel comfortable offering support to patients who are dealing with a life-limiting illness.

If you have a desire to serve others in this capacity, please call our office at 888-325-8383 to speak with our Volunteer Coordinator, or you may click on the link below and fill out a volunteer application. Once we receive your application, our Volunteer Coordinator will contact you to discuss your role further.

You may also email us at [email protected].

*If you wish to serve as a hospice volunteer but have recently suffered the loss of a loved one, please accept our deepest sympathy. We welcome you to serve as a Remarkable Hospice volunteer if it has been at least one year since your loss.

Hospice Location and Facility Partners

At Remarkable Hospice we are made up of multiple teams and locations. Each of these teams works closely with the patient, the patient’s loved ones, and if the patient resides in a facility, the facility as well. After caring for many patients at each of these locations, we have partnered with facilities that uphold our standards of excellence in patient care.
